Dawn and Drew

Listening to the Dawn and Drew, episode 968.5 (a pay-per-listen show), which describes their nightmare home invasion in Costa Rica. They are now back in Wisconsin.

Here is the free one, in which they summarize the story:

It will cost $5 for the expanded story show. J bought it. Props.

We were talking to Drew about a trip to CR this past winter, but it turned out that my brother was getting married in Florida so that diverted our resources away from the jungle vacay.

No new episode, but PK did another RPM Challenge

Here's the link:

The RPM Challenge is an internet challenge to record an album of 10 or more songs, or 35 or more minutes (my 12 are hardly 35 minutes) during the month of February.  I recommend trying it to all you amateur musicians.  I have been calling it an exercise rather than anything else (work of art, tour de force, magnum opus) since I did my first RPM in 2009.  I heard R. Crumb's character calling a comic of his an exercise while watching American Splendor this past week. So yes. I am like R. Crumb.

Anyone that feels a deadline can be a catalyst to the creative process might definitely like the http://www.rpmchallenge.com.

That's that. Jeanette and I continue to thrive going into the spring. We continue to talk about recording shows all the time, and then to not record them.

Love you all.

Paul

Also remember James Eric aka James Laczkowski?  He's got a podcast now called http://directorsclubpodcast.com/

This would have been lost to the ages.  J and I just hosted our second Thanksgiving at the new house and doing well.  Almost recorded a show on Tuesday night last week, but then started watching some Boardwalk Empire episodes and forgot all about it.

Enjoy a scene from yesteryear, courtesy of Iggy.

By recording a show by myself, I cleverly seduced Jeanette back into
the world of podcasting. Here we are once again at full-strength.
Jeanette shows them again why she is a star.
